There are many choices when it comes to cremation. Cremation itself does not eliminate, or take the place of, a funeral. It may include traditional funeral ceremonies such as a viewing prior to cremation or simply a memorial ceremony either before or following cremation. Whatever you choose is a reflection of the individuality of the person it is for. We encourage and assist families to create a memorial that will have a lasting and beneficial meaning to them and their loved ones.
Some local mortuaries and cremation companies transport your loved one out of the area for cremation. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary owns and operates our own local Crematory so you can rest assured that your loved one is always in our care.
Chapel of the Valley Mortuary offers several urn options as well as keepsake urns and commemorative jewelry.
These are some of the Cremation Service Options that we offer. These options commemorate the deceased without the remains present, however, the cremated remains of the deceased, at the family’s request, may be present.
1. Cremation with a Memorial Ceremony at our chapel, church or another facility.
2. Cremation with a Memorial Ceremony at the graveside.
3. Direct Cremation, no ceremony
