We have some terrific memories of when we were younger and doing so many things together and with family that will always be in our hearts and minds. Family campsites at Waterhouses, Atlantic City trips complete with bus people, crowded elavators (Lets Try!), and those stinking escalators. I will remember the trip the four of us took to the Ice Show in Boston. You new the way back but I didn''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t, I was driving, you were navigating but sleeping. We were in a blizzard. Instead of returning to Rutland County we spent the night in Plymouth NH. 4-wheeling in your Ford pick-up still reminds me of those escalators rides in Atlantic City. Thank You Mike for being a part of us and for being there for Cindy all these years as well as for Taters and Mikey. We will miss you in the now, but will keep you in our hearts forever.

Dad, I watched you the strongest man I''''ve ever known fight the hardest battle of your life. It was a horrible battle that sadly you did not win. Dad you were the guy who made everyone laugh and I know you didn''''t want to leave this world be cause of all the love you had for everyone. But you dad lived a very happy great life. I always admired your ability to live life spontaneously and without regret. I know I wasn''''t a picture perfect child and i made my mistakes some worse than others, but you dad, you always forgave me not matter what. You loved me like a father should teaching me right from wrong and accepting me flaws and all. No matter how insecure I got you always found a way to say something to make it better. Dad when you got sick my greatest fear was that you were gonna miss out on everything any girl dreams of, you giving me away at my wedding, and my children growing up being spoiled by you and mom. I have come to realize that physically you may not be here but in spirit you will be here. Dad for 5 months i watched you fight and never give up and i watched my mother by your side day and night. I admire both of your strength and love. Life is a struggle everyday and everyday you have in this world is precious. Dad you have now shown me that. Ill miss you everyday of my life.. LOVE YOU DADDY

Mike,
Lorri and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of your passing. We were not cognizant of you trials the past six months. Our condolences go out to Cindy
Mike and Courtney.
I have many fond memories of our childhood when you, Mary Jane and I were more like siblings. You were the Best Man when Lorri and I married in 1975.
You also had incredible courage to leave your roots in Vermont and establish a new life in California.
Our family will always love and miss you. Vaya con Dios.

I so enjoyed working with Michael at the Diagnostic Center -- he was friendly, funny (even when he was angry about something!), and a man of his word. He made a difference there, to the staff, to the parents, and to the kids.

My deepest sympathy to his family.

Mike remember all the good times and conversations we shared about old families stories and even about Ross Perault. We always enjoyed our trips to Las Vegas and getting together with Cindy and you. May you rest in peace and please give a big HI to our beloved Joan.

When Mike married my sister he gained a large extended family-for better or worse. So many great memories were made while they lived in Vt.We "took over"Waterhouses for many summers. We had our own bingo, pot luck meals and fireworks. Winters were midnight bowling and Christmas get togethers. My last memory is very emotional being present as Mike lost his very valiant battle for his life on earth. He kept his sense of humor, concern for Cindy,Courtney and Mikey and his determination to get out of bed and sit on the couch until just days before his death. Sadly as hard as he tried to overcome, it was not to be. My sister lost her soulmate, Courtney and Mikey their dad, Little mike his grandad and our extended family lost a much loved son in law, brother in law and uncle way too soon. Mike, until we meet again, thanks for the memories.
